Dr. Kamat is a urologic oncologist specializing in genitourinary cancers, with expertise in urothelial cancer, immunotherapy, personalized therapeutics, and bladder preservation. He earned his MBBS from Seth G.S. Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital and completed urology residency at West Virginia University, followed by urologic oncology fellowship at MD Anderson. Founding President of the International Bladder Cancer Group, he has led numerous clinical trials and authored more than 610 publications. He also serves on major international oncology organizations and editorial boards.
